AEO Spotlight Expands AI Visibility Monitoring to Brave AI and Google AI Overviews
AEO Spotlight now monitors brand mentions in Brave AI and Google AI Overviews, giving brands a broader picture of where they appear beyond the major chatbots.
Published May 6, 2026 · Adam Rock
AEO Spotlight announced support for two additional AI answer surfaces: Brave AI and Google AI Overviews. The expansion means a brand's visibility score now reflects how it shows up in browser-based AI answers and in Google's AI-generated overviews, on top of the chat assistants already supported.
What Changed
Existing monitoring queries now run against Brave AI and Google AI Overviews in addition to ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity. Dashboard pages break down visibility per platform, so a brand can see at a glance where it is mentioned and where it is absent in each answer surface.
The change matters because different AI answer engines pull from different sources. A brand can rank strongly in one assistant and be missing entirely in another. Tracking them side by side reveals those gaps.
What It Means for Users
No setup is required. Monitoring queries already configured in the platform automatically include the new surfaces, and the visibility score reflects the broader set of AI answers going forward.
