AEO Spotlight Rolls Out Agent Control With Human-in-the-Loop Approvals
Agent Control lets AI agents propose content and actions for human approval, with a full audit trail, and gives teams the option to run the loop on autopilot.

AEO Spotlight announced Agent Control, a feature that lets AI agents propose work for human approval before anything is executed. It gives teams a supervised way to use automation without giving up control.
How It Works
Agent Control introduces an autonomy mode with three levels. In manual mode, nothing runs automatically. In propose mode, the platform's agents draft content, generate briefs, and prepare publish actions, then send them to a human for approval. In autopilot mode, approved policies allow the loop to run end to end on its own.
Every agent action is recorded in an append-only audit trail, including the exact prompt that was sent and a summary of the payload. That gives teams full visibility into what automation did and why.
Why It Matters
AI visibility is a continuous loop: monitor, detect a gap, create content, publish, and verify. Agent Control lets teams hand the routine parts of that loop to automation while keeping a human in the loop for anything that touches a live publish.
